Ash-Shu'araa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ 87 يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ 88 إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ 89
{87-89} "Wala usinihizi Siku watakapofufuliwa" kwa kunikemea juu ya baadhi ya dhambi, na kuniadhibu juu yake na kunifedhehesha. Bali nifurahishe siku hiyo ambayo mali haitafaa kitu wala wana. "Isipokuwa mwenye kumjia Mwenyezi Mungu na moyo safi." Huyu ndiye atakayenufaika kwako, na huyu ndiye atakayeepuka adhabu na kustahili thawabu nyingi. Na maana ya moyo safi ni moyo uliosalimika kutokana na ushirikina, shaka, kupenda uovu, kuendelea kufanya uzushi katika dini na madhambi. Na inalazimu moyo unaposalimika kutokana na hayo yaliyotajwa usifike na kinyume, chake kama vile kumkusudia Mwenyezi Mungu peke yake, elimu, yakini, na kupenda heri, na kuupamba moyo wake na heri hiyo, na kwamba mapenzi yake na upendo yawe ni yenye kufuata upendo wa Mwenyezi Mungu, na matamanio yake yawe yanfuatana na kile kilichotoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
