Ash-Shu'araa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. فَأَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ حَـٰشِرِينَ 53 إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيلُونَ 54 وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَآئِظُونَ 55 وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَـٰذِرُونَ 56
{53-56} "Basi Firauni akawatuma mijini wakusanyaji" ili wawakusanye watu, na akawatia hamu kaumu yake akisema, "Hakika hawa" Wana wa Israili "ni kikundi kidogo. Nao kwa hakika wanatuudhi." Kwa hivyo, tunataka kutekeleza ghadhabu yetu juu ya watumwa hawa ambao wamebaki pamoja nasi. "Na sisi ni wengi, wenye kuchukua hadhari." Na tena sote tuna masilahi tunayoshirikiana katika hao adui zetu.
