Ash-Shu'araa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا۟ لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ 41 قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ 42
{41-42} "Basi walipokuja wachawi" na wakamfikia Firauni, wakamwambia, "Je, tutapata ujira ikiwa sisi ndio tutakaoshinda" dhidi ya Musa. "Akasema: Naam!" Mna ujira na thawabu, nanyi ni miongoni mwa wale walio karibu nami. Na aliwaahidi malipo na kuwa karibu naye; ili wafanye bidii na wafanye yote wawezayo katika kupinga aliyokuja nayo Musa.
