Ash-Shu'araa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَرْجُومِينَ 116
{116} Kwa hivyo Nuhu, amani na baraka ziwe juu yake, aliendelea kuwaita usiku na mchana, kwa siri na wazi, na waliongeza tu chuki zao, na "Wakasema, ikiwa huachi, ewe Nuhu" kutokana na mwaliko wako kwetu kwa Mungu peke yake; "bila ya shaka utapigwa mawe." Yaani, tukuue kwa uovu kwa kumuua; kwa kutupa mawe; kama mbwa anavyouawa, basi watambe! Ni mahojiano mabaya zaidi gani haya! Wanakutana na mshauri mwaminifu ambaye anawahurumia kutoka kwao na mhojiwa.
