Al-Muminoon
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. أَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُم بِهِۦ مِن مَّالٍ وَبَنِينَ 55 نُسَارِعُ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ ۚ بَل لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ 56
{55-56} "Je, wanadhani ya kuwa kwa vile tunavyowapa mali na watoto." "Ndiyo tunawahimizia heri?" Yaani, je, wanafikiri kwamba namna tunanavyowaongezea mali na watoto ni ushahidi kwamba, wao ni miongoni mwa watu wema na walio na furaha, na kwamba wana heri ya dunia na Akhera, na kwamba haya ni utangulizi tu kwao? Sivyo hivyo, "Lakini wenyewe hawatambui," kwamba muhula huo tunaowapa, na neema tunazowapa ni ili waongeze dhambi ili ipatikane adhabu yao huko Akhera, na ili wafurahi kwa yale waliyopewa, na pindi watakapofurahia hayo tuliyowapa, tutawachukua kwa ghafla.
