Al-Muminoon
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ 115 فَتَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْكَرِيمِ 116
{116-115} Yaani, "je, mlidhani," enyi waumbwa; "ya kwamba tuliwaumba bure." Yaani, bure bila ya sababu na batili; mle na mnywe na mfurahi na mpumbae kwa mapambo ya dunia, na tuwaache na tusiwaamrishe na wala tusiwakataze na wala tusiwapeni thawabu na tusiwapeni dhambi. Na kwa sababu hii akasema, "na ya kwamba nyinyi, kwetu hamtarudishwa?" Hili haliingii akilini mwenu hata kidogo. "Ametukuka Mwenyezi Mungu;" yaani, ametukuka na amenyanyuka dhidi ya dhana hii batili, ambayo inarudi kwenye kashfa kwa hekima yake. "Mfalme wa Haki, hapana mungu ila Yeye, Mola Mlezi wa A'rshi Tukufu." Na kuwa kwake Mmiliki wa viumbe wote ni haki katika ukweli wake na ahadi yake, "na" na furaha yake ni mwabudiwa kwa yale aliyo nayo kutokana na ukamilifu wa Mola wa A'rshi kuu, na vilivyo duni yake kutoka kwa mlango wa kwanza inapinga kuwaumba bure bila ya sababu.
