Al-Hajj
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُجَـٰدِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَـٰبٍ مُّنِيرٍ 8
{8} Hoja iliyotajwa hapo juu ni kwa muigaji, na hoja hii ni kwa shetani mamluki ambaye analingania uzushi, kwa hiyo ikaripotiwa kwamba "wanaobishana juu ya Mwenyezi Mungu." Yaani, wanabishana na Mitume wa Mwenyezi Mungu na wafuasi wao kwa uwongo ili kuikadhibisha Haki, "bila ya elimu." Ni kweli, "wala uwongofu;" yaani, hafuati katika hoja yake yule anayemuongoza; Hapana mwenye kuongoa, wala mwenye kufuata, "wala Kitabu chenye nuru;" yaani, wazi na bayana. [Yaani:] Hana uthibitisho wa kiakili wala wa kimaandishi, ila ni dhana zilizofunuliwa na Shetani, na mashetani wanawatia marafiki zao kubishana nanyi.
