Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِى بَـٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 71
{71} "Na tukamwokoa yeye na Luuti." Hayo ni kwa sababu hawakumuamini yeyote katika kaumu yake isipokuwa Luti, amani iwe juu yake. Ikasemwa: Alikuwa ni mtoto wa ndugu yake, Mwenyezi Mungu akamuokoa, na akahama. "Tukawapeleka kwenye nchi tuliyoibariki kwa ajili ya walimwengu wote." Yaani, Shaamu, basi watu wake wakaondoka katika nchi ya Iraki katika nchi ya Iraq. "Akasema, Mimi nahamia kwa Mola wangu Mlezi. Hakika Yeye ndiye Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hekima." Moja ya baraka za Mtukufu Mtume (rehema na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu zimshukie yeye) ni kwamba wengi wa Mitume walikuwemo humo, na kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu aliichagua kama kuhama kwa ajili ya rafiki yake, na ina moja ya nyumba zake tatu tukufu, nayo ni Bayt al-Maqdis.
