Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا نُوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعْبُدُونِ 25
{25} Na Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu alipoelekeza kutajwa waliotangulia, na akaamrisha kuyarejelea waliyo nayo katika kubainisha suala hili, akabainisha kwa ubainisho kamili zaidi katika kauli yake, "Na hatukumtuma kabla yako Mtume yeyote isipokuwa tulimfunulia ya kwamba hapana mungu isipokuwa Mimi. Basi niabuduni Mimi tu." Kwa hivyo, Mitume wote waliokutangulia wewe pamoja na vitabu vyao suala kuu zaidi la ujumbe wao na msingi wake ni kuamrisha kumuabudu Mwenyezi Mungu peke yake, bila ya mshirika yeyote. Na kubainisha kwamba Yeye tu ndiye Mungu wa haki, anayeabudiwa, na kwamba kuabudu kisichokuwa Yeye ni batili.
