Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. قَـٰلَ رَبِّ ٱحْكُم بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَرَبُّنَا ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ 112
{112} "Sema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Hukumu kwa haki;" Yaani, baina yetu na watu makafiri. Basi Mwenyezi Mungu akaijibu dua hii, na akahukumu baina yao katika dunia kabla ya Akhera kwa yale aliyowaadhibu nayo Mwenyezi Mungu makafiri katika vita vya Badr na vingine. "Na Mola wetu Mlezi ni Mwingi wa Rehema, aombwaye msaada juu ya mnayoyazua." Yaani, tunamuomba Mola wetu, Mwingi wa Rehema, na tunamwomba msaada kwa yale mnayoyaeleza katika kusema kwenu: Tutawashinda, na Dini yenu itatoweka! Katika hili, hatujivutii nafsi zetu, wala hatutegemei walio karibu nasi na nguvu zetu, bali tunaomba msaada kwa Mwingi wa Rehema ambaye mkononi mwake kuna fungu la kila kiumbe, na tunataraji kwamba atakamilisha rehema tulizomuomba. Na akafanya hivyo, na sifa njema ni zake Mwenyezi Mungu.
