Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ ءَاذَنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍ ۖ وَإِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ 109 إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْتُمُونَ 110
{109 - 110} Na kama "wakigeuka" wasimtii Mola wao Mlezi. Basi waonye kuja kwa mifano na kuja kwa adhabu. "Kwa hivyo sema, "Nimewatangazieni." Yaani, niliwaambieni adhabu, "sawa sawa." Yaani, elimu yangu na ujuzi wako wa hayo ni sawa. Basi usiseme inapowasibu adhabu: Hajatujia mtu wala mwonyaji, bali sasa elimu yangu na yenu ni sawa nilipowaonya na kukuonya na kukujulisha matokeo ya ukafiri nisikufiche chochote. "Wala sijui yako karibu au mbali hayo mliyoahidiwa." Yaani, kutokana na mateso; kwa sababu ujuzi wake uko kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, naye yuko mkononi mwake. Sina uhusiano wowote nayo.
