Al-Baqara
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَإِذَا لَقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِۦ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ 76
(76) Kisha akataja hali ya wanafiki katika Watu wa Kitabu, akasema "Na wanapokutana na wale walioamini, husema: Tumeamini." Basi wakawadhihirishia imani kwa kusema kwa ndimi zao yasiyokuwa katika nyoyo zao. "Na wanapokuwa peke yao, wao kwa wao" bila ya kuwepo pamoja nao yeyote asiyekuwa wa dini yao, wanaambiana wao kwa wao, "Mnawaambia (mambo) aliyokufunulieni Mwenyezi Mungu." Yani mnawadhihirishia imani na kuwaambia kuwa nyinyi ni kama wao? Basi hilo likawa ni hoja yao juu yenu, wakisema kuwa: Hakika wao (Watu wa Kitabu) wamekiri kwamba tuliyo juu yake ni ya haki, na waliyo juu yake ni ya uongo. Basi wakawahoji kwa hilo kwa Mola wenu Mlezi. "Basi hamfahamu nyinyi?" Yani hamna akili, mkaacha lile ambalo ni hoja juu yenu?
