Maryam
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. كَلَّا ۚ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ مَدًّا 79
{79} Na ndiyo maana Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu akasema, "Hasha!" Yaani, jambo hili si kama alivyodai. Kwa maana, huyo aliyeyasema hana habari zozote za ghaibu, kwa sababu yeye ni kafiri asiye na elimu yoyote ya Mitume, na wala hakuchukua ahadi yoyote kwa Mwingi wa rehema. Kwa sababu ya ukafiri wake na kutoamini kwake. Lakini anastahiki kinyume cha ayasemayo, na hakika maneno yake yameandikwa na kuhifadhiwa ili alipwe kwayo na aadhibiwe. Na ndiyo maana akasema, "Tutaandika anayoyasema, na tutamuongezea sawasawa katika adhabu." Yaani, tutamzidishia aina mbalimbali za adhabu kama alivyozidisha katika kukengeuka na kupotea.
