An-Nahl
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُم مَّاذَآ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۙ قَالُوٓا۟ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ 24
{24} Mwenyezi Mungu anasema kuwajulisha juu ya ukali wa kukadhibisha kwa washirikina ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu: "Na wanapoambiwa, "Ni nini alichoteremsha Mola wenu Mlezi?" Yaani, wanapoulizwa juu ya Qur-ani na Wahyi, ambao ndio neema kubwa zaidi ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu amewaneemesha waja, mnasemaje juu yake? Na je, mnashukuru neema hii na kuikiri, au mnaikufuru na kuifanyia ukaidi? Linakuwa jibu lao ni jibu baya na bovu zaidi. Wanasema juu yake: Ni "Hadithi za kubuni za wa mwanzo!" Yaani, uwongo ambao Muhammad alimzulia Mwenyezi Mungu, na ni hadithi tu za watu wa mwanzo ambazo watu hupitishana vizazi baada ya vizazi, ambazo baadhi yake ni ukweli na baadhi yake ni uwongo.
