Al-Hijr
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِىٓ إِن كُنتُمْ فَـٰعِلِينَ 71 لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِى سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ 72
{71 - 72} Kwa hivyo Lut' "akasema" kwa sababu ya ugumu wa jambo hilo lililompata: "Hawa binti zangu, ikiwa nyinyi ni watendaji." Lakini hawakuijali kauli yake, na ndiyo maana Mwenyezi Mungu akamwambia Mtume wake Muhammad - rehema na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake: - "Ninaapa kwa umri wako! Hakika hao walikuwa katika ulevi wao, wakihangaika ovyo." Na ulevi huu ni ulevi wa kupenda mchafu ambayo hawajali kulaumiwa na kushutumiwa juu yake.
