Al-Hijr
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ 36 قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ 37 إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ 38
{36-38} "Akasema (Iblisi): Mola wangu Mlezi! Nipe muhula mpaka siku watakapofufuliwa. (Mwenyezi Mungu) akasema: Hakika wewe ni katika waliopewa muhula. Mpaka siku ya wakati maalumu." Na Mwenyezi Mungu kuitikia dua yake siyo heshima aliyompa, lakini huo ni mtihani na majaribio kutoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kwake na kwa waja wake, ili apambanuke mkweli ambaye anamtii Mola wake na hamtii adui yake ambaye siyo hivyo. Na ndio maana akatutahadharisha kutokana naye kwa tahadharisho kubwa zaidi, na akatuelezea kile anachotaka kutoka kwetu.
