Ar-Ra'd
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ حُكْمًا عَرَبِيًّا ۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم بَعْدَ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا وَاقٍ 37
{37} Yaani, hakika tuliiteremsha Qur-ani hii na Kitabu hiki, "hukumu kwa lugha ya Kiarabu." Yaani, hukumu iliyo madhubuti kwa lugha iliyo wazi zaidi na yenye ufasaha zaidi ili asiingie shaka yoyote ndani yake wala mchanganyiko, na ili iwe sababu ya kukifuata hicho peke yake wala asibembelezwe yeyote kukifuata, wala kisifuatwe kilicho kinyume yake na yenye kukipinga miongoni mwa matamanio ya wale wasiojua. Na ndiyo maana akamtishia Mtume wake - pamoja na kwamba yeye amehifadhiwa hafanyi dhambi - ili iwe neema yake juu yake kwamba kumhifadhi, na ili umma wake uchukue kiigizo kutoka kwake katika hukumu mbalimbali, basi akasema: "Na ukifuata matamanio yao baada ya elimu hii iliyokujia" iliyo wazi, ambayo inakukataza kufuata matamanio yao. "Hutakuwa na rafiki yeyote kando na Mwenyezi Mungu" atakayekusimamia na kukuletea mambo uyapendayo "wala mlinzi" atakayekukinga kutokana na mambo yachukizayo.
