وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى رَحِيمٌ وَدُودٌ 90
{90} "Na ombeni msamaha kwa Mola wenu Mlezi" kwa yale mliyotenda miongi mwa madhambi, "tena tubuni kwake" kwa yale yatakayokuja katika maisha yenu kwa toba ya kweli, na kurejea Kwake kwa kumtii na kuacha kumhalifu. "Hakika Mola wangu Mlezi ni Mwenye kurehemu sana, Mwenye upendo mkubwa." Kwa mwenye kutubu na kurejea kwake atamrehemu, na kumsamehe, na atamkubalia toba yake, na atampenda. Maana ya jina Al-Wadud ambalo ni katika majina yake yeye Mtukufu ni kwamba yeye anawapenda waja Wake Waumini nao wanampenda. Basi ni nomino yenye maana ya mwenye kupenda na mpendwa.
