QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ 34 عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ 35 هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ 36
ثم قال عز وجل: فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ يعني: في الجنة يضحكون على أهل النار وهم على سرر في الحجال وأعدائهم في النار عَلَى الْأَرائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ إلى أعدائهم يعذبون في النار هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ يعني: جوزوا، ويقال: هل جوزي الكفار وعوقبوا إلا مَا كانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ يعني: إلا بما عملوا في الدنيا من الاستهزاء، وقال مقاتل:
يعني: قد جوزي الكفار بأعمالهم الخبيثة جزاءً شراً والله الموفق.
