QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَآ أُجِبْتُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّـٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ 109
يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ الرُّسُلَ يَوْمَ صار نصباً لأن معناه: اتقوا يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ الرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أُجِبْتُمْ يقول: ماذا أجابكم قومكم في التوحيد قالُوا لاَ عِلْمَ لَنا من هول ذلك اليوم، ومن شدة المسألة، وهي في بعض مواطن يوم القيامة قالوا: إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ ما كان وما لم يكن.
وروى أسباط عن السدي قال: نزلوا منزلاً ذهبت فيه العقول فلما سئلوا؟ قالوا: لا علم لنا ثم نزلوا منزلاً آخر، فشهدوا على قومهم. ويقال: هذا عند زفرة جهنم فلا يبقى ملك مقرَّب، ولا نبي مرسل عند ذلك إلا قال: نفسي نفسي فعند ذلك قالوا: لا علم لنا. ويقال:
كان ذلك عند أول البعث، ثم يشهدون بعد ذلك بتبليغ الرسالة.
