بحر العلومThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلْخَـٰشِعِينَ 45
وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلاةِ، أي استعينوا بالصبر على أداء الفرائض وبكثرة الصلاة على تمحيص الذنوب. ويقال: استعينوا بالصبر على نصرة محمد ﷺ. وقال مجاهد: استعينوا بالصبر والصلاة يعني بالصوم والصلاة، وإنما سمي الصوم صبراً لأن في الصوم حبس النفس عن الطعام والشراب والرفث. وقد قيل الصبر على ثلاثة أوجه: صبر على الشدة والمصيبة، وصبر على الطاعة وهو أشد من الأول وأكثر أجراً، وصبر عن المعصية وهو أشد من الأول والثاني، وأجره أكثر من الأول. وفي هذا الموضع أراد الصبر على الطاعة. قوله تعالى:
وَإِنَّها لَكَبِيرَةٌ، أي الاستعانة ويقال: الصلاة لكبيرة أي ثقيلة إِلَّا عَلَى الْخاشِعِينَ، أي المتواضعين. ويقال: الذليلة قلوبهم.
