بحر العلومThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ 66 وَجَآءَ أَهْلُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ 67 قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ 68 وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ 69 قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 70 قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِىٓ إِن كُنتُمْ فَـٰعِلِينَ 71
قوله: وَقَضَيْنا إِلَيْهِ ذلِكَ الْأَمْرَ أي أمرناه بالخروج إلى الشام إلى مدينة زغر أَنَّ دابِرَ هؤُلاءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُصْبِحِينَ أي: إنهم مستأصلون عند الصباح.
ثمّ قال: وَجاءَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بدخول الرجال منزل لوط قالَ لوط إِنَّ هؤُلاءِ ضَيْفِي يقول: أضيافي فَلا تَفْضَحُونِ فيهم وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلا تُخْزُونِ أي: لا تذلوني في أضيافي قالُوا أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ الْعالَمِينَ أي: ألم ننهك أن تضيف أحداً من الغرباء قالَ هؤُلاءِ بَناتِي أي: بنات قومي أزوجكم بهنّ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ فاعِلِينَ أي: فتزوجوا النساء، فإن الله تعالى خلق النساء للرجال، وأمر بتزويجهن.
