تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ 1 وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ 2 وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ 3 وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ 4 عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ 5
وهي مكية
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
{1 ـ 5} أي: إذا انشقَّت السماء، وانفطرت، وتناثرت نجومُها، وزال جمالُها، وفُجِّرت البحار، فصارت بحراً واحداً، وبُعْثِرَتِ القبور بأن أُخْرِج ما فيها من الأموات وحُشِروا للموقف بين يدي الله للجزاء على الأعمال؛ فحينئذٍ ينكشف الغطاء، ويزول ما كان خفيًّا، وتعلم كلُّ نفس ما معها من الأرباح والخسران. هنالك يعضُّ الظالم على يديه إذا رأى ما قدَّمت يداه وأيقن بالشقاء الأبديِّ والعذاب السَّرمديِّ، وهنالك يفوز المتَّقون المقدِّمون لصالح الأعمال بالفوز العظيم والنعيم المقيم والسلامة من عذاب الجحيم.
