تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدْنَـٰهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا 8 وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَـٰعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ ۖ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ ٱلْـَٔانَ يَجِدْ لَهُۥ شِهَابًا رَّصَدًا 9
{8 ـ 9}{وأنَّا لمسنا السماءَ}؛ أي: أتيناها واختبرناها، {فوجَدۡناها مُلِئَتۡ حرساً شديداً}:
عن الوصول إلى أرجائها والدنوِّ منها، {وشُهُباً}: يرمى بها من استرقَ
السمعَ، وهذا مخالفٌ لعادتنا الأولى؛ فإنَّا كنَّا نتمكَّن من الوصول إلى خبر السماء فإنا {كنَّا نقعدُ منها مقاعدَ للسمع}: فنتلقَّف من أخبار السماء ما شاء
الله، {فمن يستمِع الآنَ يَجِدۡ له شهاباً رصداً}؛ أي:
مرصداً له معدًّا لإتلافه وإحراقه؛ أي: وهذا له شأنٌ عظيمٌ ونبأٌ جسيمٌ،
وجزموا أنَّ الله تعالى أراد أن يحدِثَ في الأرض حادثاً كبيراً من خيرٍ أو شرٍّ؛ فلهذا قالوا:
