تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا 45 ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَـٰهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا 46
{45 ـ 46} أي: ألم تشاهِدْ ببصرك وبصيرتِك كمالَ قدرةِ ربِّك وسَعَةِ رحمتِهِ: أنَّه مدَّ على العباد الظلَّ، وذلك قبل طلوع الشمس، {ثم جَعَلۡنا الشمس عليه}؛ أي: على الظلِّ {دليلاً}: فلولا وجودُ الشمس؛ لما عُرِفَ الظلُّ؛ فإنَّ الضدَّ يعرف بضده، {ثم قَبَضۡناه إلينا قبضاً يسيراً}؛ فكلَّما ارتفعتِ الشمس؛ تقلَّص الظِّلُّ شيئاً فشيئاً، حتى يذهب بالكُلِّيَّة. فتوالي الظل والشمس على الخلق الذي يشاهدونه عياناً، وما يترتَّب على ذلك من اختلاف الليل والنهار وتعاقُبِهما وتعاقُبِ الفصول وحصول المصالح الكثيرة بسبب ذلك؛ من أدلِّ دليل على قدرةِ الله وعظمتِهِ، وكمال رحمتِهِ وعنايتِهِ بعبادِهِ، وأنَّه وحدَه المعبودُ المحمودُ المحبوب المعظَّم ذو الجلال والإكرام.
