تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ 115 فَتَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْكَرِيمِ 116
{115 ـ 116} أي: {أفحَسِبۡتُم} أيُّها الخلقُ، {أنَّما خَلَقۡناكم عَبَثاً}؛ أي: سدىً وباطلاً تأكلون وتشربون وتمرَحون وتتمتَّعون بَلذَّات الدُّنيا ونتركُكم لا نأمُرُكم ولا ننهاكم ولا نُثيبكم ونعاقبكم، ولهذا قال:{وأنَّكم إلينا لا تُرۡجَعونَ}؟ لا يَخْطُر هذا ببالكم. {فتعالى اللهُ}؛ أي: تعاظمَ وارتفعَ عن هذا الظنِّ الباطل الذي يرجِع إلى القدح في حكمته، {المَلكُ الحقُّ لا إله إلاَّ هو ربُّ العرش العظيم}: فكونُهُ ملكاً للخلق كلِّهم حقًّا في صدقِهِ ووعدِهِ [و] وعيدِهِ مألوهاً معبوداً لما له من الكمال ربَّ العرش العظيم فما دونه من باب أولى يمنَعُ أن يَخْلُقَكم عَبَثاً.
