تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ ءَايَتَيْنِ ۖ فَمَحَوْنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلنَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً لِّتَبْتَغُوا۟ فَضْلًا مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلْحِسَابَ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ فَصَّلْنَـٰهُ تَفْصِيلًا 12
{12} يقول تعالى: {وجعلنا الليلَ والنهار آيتينِ}؛ أي: دالَّتين على كمال قدرة الله وسَعَة رحمته وأنَّه الذي لا تنبغي العبادة إلاَّ له. {فَمَحَوۡنا آية الليل}؛ أي: جعلناه مظلماً للسكون فيه والراحة. {وجعلنا آيةَ النهارِ مبصرةً}؛ أي: مضيئة، {لتبتغوا فَضۡلاً من ربِّكم}: في معايشكم وصنائعكم وتجاراتكم وأسفاركم، {ولتعلموا}: بتوالي الليل والنهار واختلاف القمر {عَدَدَ السنين والحسابَ}: فتبنون عليها ما تشاؤون من مصالحكم. {وكلَّ شيءٍ فصَّلۡناه تفصيلاً}؛ أي: بيَّنَّا الآيات، وصرَّفناه لتتميز الأشياء، ويتبيَّن الحقُّ من الباطل؛ كما قال تعالى:{ما فرَّطۡنا في الكتاب من شيءٍ}.
