Al-A'raaf

وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَـٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَـٰتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ 4
-4 Аллах пригрозил людям наказанием, постигшим народы, которые отказа- лись уверовать, когда к ним явились посланники. Он запретил походить на них, поскольку лютая кара постигала неверующих, когда они беспечно от- дыхали и даже не помышляли о погибели. Когда же их постигало наказание, они уже не могли избавиться от него. Божества, на которых они надеялись, не приносили им пользы, и они не могли отречься от совершенных несправед- ливостей и злодеяний.
