Al-Qamar
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَآءَةٌ فِى ٱلزُّبُرِ 43
(43) Разве грешники, которые отвергают лучшего из посланников Аллаха лучше, чем их предшественники, которых погубил Аллах? Если они лучше них, то, может быть, им удастся спастись от Его наказания и избежать того злого возмездия, которое поразило нечестивцев. Но ведь это не так. Они могут быть хуже своих предшественников, но никак не лучше них. Разве Аллах заключил с ними завет, о котором записано в Писаниях древних пророков? Если бы это было так, то они могли бы верить обещанию Господа и надеяться на спасение.
