Aal-i-Imraan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا نُمْلِى لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِّأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِى لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟ إِثْمًا ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ 178
(178) Пусть неверующие, отказавшиеся уверовать в своего Господа, враждующие с Его религией и воюющие против Его посланника, ﷺ, не думают, что Мы не наказываем их в этом мире, не искореняем их и одаряем их долгой жизнью потому, что же- лаем им добра и любим их. На самом деле все совсем не так, как они предполагают, поскольку Мы лишь приумножаем их злосчастье и обрекаем их на еще более суровое наказание. Мы предоставляем беззаконникам отсрочку, чтобы их бесчинство и неверие приумножились, после чего Мы непременно схватим их своей Могущественной и Властной Хваткой. Пусть же они остерегаются предоставленной им отсрочки и не думают, что сумеют провести Великого и Возвышенного Господа!
