This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. يَـٰصَـٰحِبَىِ ٱلسِّجْنِ أَمَّآ أَحَدُكُمَا فَيَسْقِى رَبَّهُۥ خَمْرًا ۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلْـَٔاخَرُ فَيُصْلَبُ فَتَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّيْرُ مِن رَّأْسِهِۦ ۚ قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ تَسْتَفْتِيَانِ 41
(41) Йусуф предсказал, что один из юношей выйдет на волю и будет подавать вино свое- му господину, а второй будет распят. Он истолковал лепешку на голове юноши как мясо, сало и мозги, которые будут клевать птицы, и сообщил, что юноша будет рас- пят и его тело будет не погребено в земле, а брошено на растерзание птицам. Затем он сообщил своим собеседникам, что все предсказанное им непременно свершится.
