قَالُوا۟ يَـٰشُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفًا ۖ وَلَوْلَا رَهْطُكَ لَرَجَمْنَـٰكَ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْنَا بِعَزِيزٍ 91
(91) Многобожники были раздражены проповедями и наставлениями святого проро- ка и сказали: «О Шуейб! Мы не понимаем твоих проповедей и не понимаем мно- гое из того, что ты говоришь». Это свидетельствовало об их ненависти и отвра- щении к истине. Они также сказали: «Ты не являешься старейшиной или вож- дем. Ты — всего лишь слабый и беспомощный человек. И если бы не твои друзья и родственники, то мы непременно забросали бы тебя камнями. Мы абсолютно не ценим тебя и не испытываем к тебе никакого уважения. Но мы уважаем твоих родственников, и поэтому мы оставляем тебя в покое».
