النكت والعيونThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ 61 قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ 62 قَالُوا۟ بَلْ جِئْنَـٰكَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ 63 وَأَتَيْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ 64 فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَـٰرَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ 65 وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ 66
قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وجَلَّ: ﴿فَأسْرِ بِأهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ﴾ فِيهِ ثَلاثَةُ تَأْوِيلاتٍ: أحَدُها: بِآخِرِ اللَّيْلِ، قالَهُ الكَلْبِيُّ.
الثّانِي: بِبَعْضِ اللَّيْلِ، قالَهُ مُقاتِلٌ.
الثّالِثُ: بِظُلْمَةِ اللَّيْلِ، قالَهُ قُطْرُبٌ، ومِنهُ قَوْلُ الشّاعِرِ:
؎ ونائِحَةٍ تَنُوحُ بِقِطْعِ لَيْلٍ عَلى رَجُلٍ بِقارِعَةِ الصَّعِيدِ
قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وجَلَّ: ﴿وَقَضَيْنا إلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ الأمْرَ﴾ أيْ أوْحَيْنا إلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ الأمْرَ.
﴿أنَّ دابِرَ هَؤُلاءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُصْبِحِينَ﴾ فِيهِ وجْهانِ: أحَدُهُما: آخِرُهم.
الثّانِي: أصْلُهم.
﴿مَقْطُوعٌ مُصْبِحِينَ﴾ أيْ يُسْتَأْصَلُونَ بِالعَذابِ عِنْدَ الصَّباحِ.
