Az-Zalzala
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا 1 وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا 2
(1-2) Allah سبحانه وتعالى memberitahukan tentang apa yang terjadi pada Hari Kiamat. Bumi bergoncang dan bergoyang hingga me-runtuhkan bangunan dan gunung yang ada di atasnya. Gunung digoncang dan diratakan puing-puingnya hingga menjadi ham-paran tanah luas yang tidak ada celahnya. ﴾ وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا ﴿ "Dan bumi telah mengeluarkan beban-beban berat (yang dikandung)nya," yakni apa saja yang ada di perutnya berupa mayat dan yang tersimpan bumi.
