Al-Alaq
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُۥ 17 سَنَدْعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ 18
(17-18) ﴾ فَلۡيَدۡعُ ﴿ "Maka biarkanlah dia," orang yang benar-benar tertimpa azab, ﴾ نَادِيَهُۥ ﴿ "memanggil golongannya," yakni teman-temannya dan orang-orang di sekitarnya agar mereka menolong-nya dari azab yang menimpanya. ﴾ سَنَدۡعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ ﴿ "Kelak Kami akan me-manggil malaikat Zabaniyah," yakni para penjaga Neraka Jahanam untuk menyiksanya. Dan hendaklah ia memperhatikan, manakah di antara kedua golongan yang lebih kuat dan kuasa. Ini adalah kon-disi orang yang melarang dan siksaan yang diancamkan padanya.
