This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. أَلَمْ تَرَوْا۟ كَيْفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٰتٍ طِبَاقًا 15 وَجَعَلَ ٱلْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا 16
(15-16) Allah سبحانه وتعالى juga berdalil dengan penciptaan langit dan bumi yang lebih agung dari penciptaan manusia seraya berfirman, ﴾ أَلَمۡ تَرَوۡاْ كَيۡفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٖ طِبَاقٗا ﴿ "Tidakkah kamu perhatikan bagaimana Allah telah menciptakan tujuh langit bertingkat-tingkat," yakni, masing-masing langit di atas yang lain, ﴾ وَجَعَلَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورٗا ﴿ "dan Allah men-ciptakan padanya bulan sebagai cahaya" bagi penduduk bumi, ﴾ وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجٗا ﴿ "dan menjadikan matahari sebagai pelita." Di dalam ayat ini terdapat peringatan akan agungnya penciptaan berbagai hal ini serta banyaknya manfaat pada matahari dan bulan sebagai petun-juk atas rahmat Allah سبحانه وتعالى dan kebaikanNya yang amat luas. Dzat Yang Mahaagung lagi Maha Penyayang berhak untuk diagungkan, dicintai, ditakuti, dan diharap.
