Fussilat
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَن يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلَآ أَبْصَـٰرُكُمْ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن ظَنَنتُمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَعْلَمُ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ 22
(22) ﴾ وَمَا كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَتِرُونَ أَن يَشۡهَدَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ سَمۡعُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَبۡصَٰرُكُمۡ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمۡ ﴿ "Kamu se-kali-kali tidak dapat bersembunyi dari persaksian pendengaran, penglihatan, dan kulitmu yang melawanmu." Artinya, kalian sekali-kali tidak akan bisa bersembunyi dari persaksian anggota tubuh kalian yang me-lawan kalian dan kalian tidak akan dapat menghindarinya,﴾ وَلَٰكِن ظَنَنتُمۡ ﴿ "bahkan kamu mengira" dengan kelancangan kalian melaku-kan maksiat-maksiat, ﴾ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَعۡلَمُ كَثِيرٗا مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿ "bahwa Allah tidak mengetahui kebanyakan dari apa yang kamu kerjakan." Maka dari itu lahirlah apa yang telah lahir dari perbuatan kalian.
