Az-Zumar
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ 48
(48) ﴾ وَبَدَا لَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُواْ ﴿ "Dan jelaslah bagi mereka akibat buruk dari apa yang telah mereka perbuat," maksudnya, perkara-per-kara yang memperburuk mereka disebabkan oleh perilaku dan usaha mereka sendiri, ﴾ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ﴿ "dan mereka diliputi oleh pembalasan yang mereka dahulu selalu memperolok-olokkannya," yaitu ancaman dan siksaan. Hukuman (siksaan) pun menimpa dan melanda mereka.
