This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ 56
(56) Kemudian Allah merincikannya seraya berfirman, ﴾ جَهَنَّمَ ﴿ yaitu "Neraka Jahanam" yang di dalamnya sudah terhimpun berbagai azab, panasnya makin dahsyat dan memuncak, ﴾ يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا ﴿ "yang mereka masuk ke dalamnya," artinya, mereka disiksa di dalam-nya dengan siksa yang meliputi mereka dari segala arah; dari atas mereka diselimuti oleh gumpalan api dan dari bawah mereka pun gumpalan api pula, ﴾ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ﴿ "maka amat buruklah itu sebagai tempat tinggal," yang telah disediakan untuk mereka sebagai tempat tinggal dan tempat menetap.
