Ash-Shu'araa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ 176 إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ شُعَيْبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ 177 إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ 178 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ 179 وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 180
(176-180) Para penduduk Aikah adalah (penduduk) negeri yang penuh dengan kebun-kebun yang lebat dengan pepohonan. Mereka adalah penduduk negeri Madyan. Mereka mendustakan nabi mereka, yaitu Syu'aib yang datang dengan membawa ajaran yang dibawa oleh para rasul, ﴾ إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿ "Ketika Syu'aib berkata kepada mereka, 'Mengapa kamu tidak bertakwa'," kepada Allah سبحانه وتعالى, lalu meninggalkan segala apa yang dapat membuatNya murka dan benci, seperti kekafiran dan kemaksiatan, ﴾ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ ﴿ "Se-sungguhnya aku adalah seorang rasul untuk kalian, yang terpercaya," yang semua itu berkonsekuensi agar kalian bertakwa kepada Allah dan taat kepadaku.
