Al-Furqaan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَّذِيرًا 51
(51) Allah سبحانه وتعالى mengabarkan tentang terlaksananya kehen-dakNya, dan kalau saja Dia berkehendak, niscaya Dia utus seorang pemberi peringatan pada tiap negeri. Yakni, seorang rasul yang memberi peringatan kepada mereka dan mewanti-wanti. Jadi, ke-hendak (masyi`ah) Allah itu tidak terbatas pada hal-hal itu saja. Akan tetapi kebijaksanaanNya dan rahmatNya kepadamu dan kepada manusia mengharuskanmu, wahai Muhammad untuk mengutus-mu kepada seluruh mereka, yang berkulit merah dan hitam, Arab dan bukan Arab, manusia dan jin.
