Al-Hajj
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَمْلَيْتُ لَهَا وَهِىَ ظَالِمَةٌ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهَا وَإِلَىَّ ٱلْمَصِيرُ 48
(48) ﴾ وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَمۡلَيۡتُ لَهَا ﴿ "Dan berapa banyak kota yang Aku tangguhkan (azabKu) kepadanya," Kami menundanya untuk waktu yang lama ﴾ وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٞ ﴿ "yang penduduknya berbuat zhalim," meskipun mereka berbuat kezhaliman, laju mereka untuk berbuat kezhaliman tidak serta-merta membuat Kami mempercepat hu-kuman (mereka). ﴾ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهَا وَإِلَيَّ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ 48 ﴿ "Kemudian Aku azab mereka, dan hanya kepadaKu-lah kembalinya (segala sesuatu)," disertai siksa yang menghampiri mereka di dunia, mereka akan kembali kepada Allah, lalu menyiksa mereka dengan siksaNya. Maka, hati-hatilah orang-orang yang berbuat kezhaliman terhadap datangnya hukuman Allah. Jangan sampai mereka terpedaya dengan penangguhan waktu.
