Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. قَالُوا۟ مَن فَعَلَ هَـٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ 59
(59) Ketika mereka menyaksikan kejadian yang menimpa patung-patung mereka, berupa penghinaan dan pelecehan ﴾ قَالُواْ مَن فَعَلَ هَٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ 59 ﴿ "mereka bertanya, "Siapakah yang melakukan perbuatan ini terhadap tuhan-tuhan kami, sesungguhnya dia termasuk orang-orang yang zhalim." Mereka menuduh Ibrahim sebagai pelaku kezhaliman karena telah menghancurkannya. Padahal merekalah yang lebih pantas untuk disebut telah berbuat zhalim. Mereka tidak tahu bahwa penghancurannya terhadap patung-patung merupa-kan jasa beliau yang paling utama, dan bentuk keadilan dan ketau-hidannya. Sesungguhnya orang yang berbuat zhalim, ialah orang yang menjadikan patung-patung itu sebagai sesembahan, padahal orang itu mengetahui apa yang ia perbuat kepadanya.
