Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. قَالُوا۟ وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا لَهَا عَـٰبِدِينَ 53
(53) Mereka menjawabnya dengan jawaban tanpa alasan kuat, sebuah jawaban orang yang lemah, yang tidak mengandung sedikit pun syubhat yang bisa dipegangi. Mereka mengatakan, ﴾ وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا ﴿ "Kami mendapati bapak-bapak kami." Beginilah mereka (orang-orang tua kami) melakukan, maka kami sekedar menerus-kan budaya-budaya mereka dan mengikuti mereka dalam menyem-bahnya. Sudah menjadi perkara yang diketahui, bahwa perbuatan seorang manusia, selain para rasul, bukan merupakan hujjah (dasar kuat) dan tidak boleh diteladani. Terutama dalam perkara dasar-dasar agama (akidah) dan tauhid (pengesaan) Rabb semesta alam.
