Al-Baqara
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ 141
(141) Telah berlalu tafsir ayat tersebut. Dan Allah meng-ulang ayat ini untuk memupuskan adanya ketergantungan kepada makhluk, dan bahwasanya yang menjadi sandaran adalah apa yang menjadi sifat manusia itu, bukan dari perbuatan para pendahulu dan nenek moyangnya. Maka manfaat yang sebenarnya adalah dengan perbuatan, bukan dengan sebatas penisbatan diri kepada orang.
