Al-Baqara
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥٓ أَسْلِمْ ۖ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 131
(131) ﴾ إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥٓ أَسۡلِمۡۖ قَالَ ﴿ "Ketika Tuhannya berfirman kepadanya, 'Tunduk patuhlah'! (Maka) Ibrahim menjawab," sebagai ketundukan kepada Tuhannya, ﴾ أَسۡلَمۡتُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿ "Aku tunduk patuh kepada Tuhan semesta alam," dengan ikhlas dan bertauhid, mencintai, dan pasrah. Maka bertauhid kepada Allah adalah sifat beliau, lalu beliau me-wariskannya kepada keturunannya dan mewasiatkannya kepada mereka, dan beliau jadikan tauhid itu sebagai kalimat yang terus ada pada generasi selanjutnya, dan terus diwarisi di antara mereka hingga sampai kepada Ya'qub, lalu beliau juga mewasiatkan hal itu kepada anak-anaknya,
