QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنِّى عُذْتُ بِرَبِّى وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ 27
﴿وَقالَ مُوسى﴾ أيْ: لِقَوْمِهِ حِينَ سَمِعَ بِما تَقَوَّلَهُ اللَّعِينُ مِن حَدِيثِ قَتْلِهِ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلاةُ والسَّلامُ.
﴿إنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي ورَبِّكم مِن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ الحِسابِ﴾ صَدَّرَ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلاةُ والسَّلامُ كَلامَهُ بِإنَّ تَأْكِيدًا لَهُ، وإظْهارًا لِمَزِيدِ الِاعْتِناءِ بِمَضْمُونِهِ وفَرْطِ الرَّغْبَةِ فِيهِ، وخُصَّ اسْمَ الرَّبِّ المُنْبِئِ عَنِ الحِفْظِ والتَّرْبِيَةِ؛ لِأنَّهُما الَّذِي يَسْتَدْعِيهِ وأضافَهُ إلَيْهِ وإلَيْهِمْ حَثًّا لَهم عَلى مُوافَقَتِهِ في العِياذِ بِهِ تَعالى والتَّوَكُّلِ عَلَيْهِ فَإنَّ في تَظاهُرِ النُّفُوسِ تَأْثِيرًا قَوِيًّا في اسْتِجْلابِ الإجابَةِ، ولَمْ يُسَمِّفِرْعَوْنَ بَلْ ذَكَرَهُ بِوَصْفٍ يَعُمُّهُ وغَيْرَهُ مِنَ الجَبابِرَةِ لِتَعْمِيمِ الِاسْتِعاذَةِ والإشْعارِ بِعِلَّةِ القَساوَةِ والجُرْأةِ عَلى اللَّهِ تَعالى، وقُرِئَ: ( عُدْتُ ) بِالإدْغامِ.
