QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ رُشْدَهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِۦ عَـٰلِمِينَ 51
﴿وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنا إبْراهِيمَ رُشْدَهُ﴾ أيِ: الرُّشْدَ اللّائِقَ بِهِ وبِأمْثالِهِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ الكِبارِ، وهو الِاهْتِداءُ الكامِلُ المُسْتَنِدُ إلى الهِدايَةِ الخاصَّةِ الحاصِلَةِ بِالوَحْيِ، والِاقْتِدارُ عَلى إصْلاحِ الأُمَّةِ بِاسْتِعْمالِ النَّوامِيسِ الإلَهِيَّةِ. وقُرِئَ: "رَشَدَهُ" وهُما لُغَتانِ كالحُزْنِ والحَزَنِ.
﴿مِن قَبْلُ﴾ أيْ: مِن قَبْلِ إيتاءِ مُوسى وهارُونَ التَّوْراةَ، وتَقْدِيمُ ذِكْرِ إيتائِها لِما بَيْنَهُ وبَيْنَ إنْزالِ القرآن مِنَ الشَّبَهِ التّامِّ. وقِيلَ: مِن قَبْلِ اسْتِنْبائِهِ، أوْ قَبْلَ بُلُوغِهِ، ويَأْباهُ المَقامُ.
﴿وَكُنّا بِهِ عالِمِينَ﴾ أيْ: بِأنَّهُ أهْلٌ لِما آَتَيْناهُ، وفِيهِ مِنَ الدَّلِيلِ عَلى أنَّهُ تَعالى عالِمٌ بِالجُزْئِيّاتِ مُخارٌ في أفْعالِهِ ما لا يَخْفى.
