Text fromShamela 138Muḥammad Abū al-Hudā al-Yaʿqūbītaken 2026-10-25
This is the Arabic text of Shamāʾil al-Ḥabīb al-Muṣṭafā by Shaykh Muḥammad Abū al-Hudā al-Yaʿqūbī (al-ʿIlm ash-Sharīf Foundation, first edition, 2017) as Shamela’s copy of the book gives it, page by page. It is a contemporary author’s book, and its colophon reserves all rights to the author: Sabīl shows it by the founder’s decision, and no permission from the author, the publisher or Shamela has been asked or given. Nobody has compared this copy with the printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. The narrations are given without their chains, with the author’s own gradings and sources, as the book has them; the footnotes of a printed page stand after the paragraph that carries their number. A narration that runs on to the next printed page is two paragraphs, as the copy has it. The colophon and the book’s own table of contents are left out. There is no translation.
