الَّذِي تَقَدَّسَتْ عَنِ الأَشْبَاهِ ذَاتُهُ، وَتَنَزَّهَتْ عَنْ مُشَابَهَةِ الأَمْثَالِ صِفَاتُهُ. وَاحِدٌ لَا مِنْ قِلَّةٍ وَمَوْجُودٌ لَا مِنْ عِلَّةٍ. بِالبِرِّ مَعْرُوفٌ وَبِالإِحْسَانِ مَوْصُوفٌ. مَعْرُوفٌ بِلَا غَايَةٍ وَمَوْصُوفٌ بِلَا نِهَايَةٍ. أَوَّلٌ بِلَا ابْتِدَاءٍ، وَآخِرٌ بِلَا انْتِهَاءٍ. لَا يُنْسَبُ إِلَيْهِ البَنُونَ، وَلَا يُفْنِيهِ تَدَاوُلُ الأَوْقَاتِ، وَلَا تُوهِنُهُ السِّنُونَ، كُلُّ المَخْلُوقَاتِ قَهْرُ عَظَمَتِهِ، وَأَمْرُهُ بِالكَافِ وَالنُّونِ. بِذِكْرِهِ أَنِسَ المُخْلِصُون، وَبِرُؤْيَتِهِ تَقَرُّ العُيُونُ، وَبِتَوْحِيدِهِ ابْتَهَجَ المُوَحِّدُونَ. هَدَى أَهْلَ طَاعَتِهِ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ، وَأَبَاحَ أَهْلَ مَحَبَّتِهِ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ، وَعَلِمَ عَدَدَ أَنْفَاسِ مَخْلُوقَاتِهِ بِعِلْمِهِ القَدِيمِ، وَيَرَى حَرَكَاتِ أَرْجُلِ النَّمْلِ فِي جُنْحِ اللَّيْلِ البَهِيمِ. يُسَبِّحُهُ الطَّائِرُ فِي وَكْرِهِ، وَيُمَجِّدُهُ الوَحْشُ فِي قَفْرِهِ، مُحِيطٌ بِعَمَلِ العَبْدِ سِرِّهِ وَجَهْرِهِ، وَكَفِيلٌ لِلمُؤْمِنِينَ بِتَأيِيدِهِ وَنَصْرِهِ، وَتَطْمَئِنُّ القُلُوبُ الوَجِلَةُ بِذِكْرِهِ وَكَشْفِ ضُرِّهِ، ﴿ وَمِنْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓ أَنْ تَقُومَ السَّمَآءُ وَالْأَرْضُ بِأَمْرِهِ ﴾ ، أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا وَغَفَرَ ذُنُوبَ الْمُذْنِبِينَ كَرَمًا وَحِلْمًا ﴿ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِۦ شَىْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ ﴾ .
Alladhī taqaddasat ʿanil ashbāhi dhātuhu watanazzahat ʿan mushābahatil amthāli ṣifātuhu wāḥidun lā min qillatin wamawjūdun lā min ʿillatin, bilbirri maʿrūfun wabil iḥsāni mawṣūfun maʿrūfun bilā ghāyatin wa mawṣūfun bilā nihāyatin awwalun bilāb tidāʾin wa ākhirun bilāntihāʾin lā yunsabu ilayhil banūna walā yufnīhi tadāwulul awqāti walā tūhinuhus sinūna kullul makhlūqāti qahru ʿaẓamatihi wa amruhu bilkāfi wan nūni bidhikrihi anisal mukhliṣūna wa biruʾyatihi taqarrul ʿuyūnu wa bitawḥīdihibtahajal muwaḥḥidūna hadā ahla ṭāʿatihi ilā ṣirāṭim mustaqīmin wa abāḥa ahla maḥabbatihi jannātin naʿīmi wa ʿalima ʿadada anfāsi makhlūqātihi biʿilmihil qadīmi wa yarā ḥarakāti arjulin namli fī junḥil laylil bahīmu yusabbiḥuhuṭ ṭāʾiru fī wakrihi wa yumajjiduhul waḥshu fī qafrihi muḥīṭun biʿamalil ʿabdi sirrihi wajahrihi wa kafīlun lilmuʾminīna bitaʾyīdihi wa naṣrihi wa taṭmaʾinnul qulūbul wajilatu bidhikrihi wa kashfi ḍurrihi wa min āyātihi an taqūmas samāʾu wal arḍu bi amrihi aḥāṭa bikulli shayʾin ʿilman wa ghafara dhunubal mudhnibīna karaman waḥ ilman laysa kamithlihi shayʾun wa huwas samīʿul baṣīr.
His Essence transcends all likenesses. His Attributes are exalted beyond any possibility of resemblance. He is Unique, not but not in any privative sense. He exists, but not through any cause. He is recognised for goodness, characterised by beneficence. He is recognised beyond all bounds, characterised to an infinite degree. He is First without beginning, and Last without end. No offspring are ascribable to Him. The passage of time does not exhaust Him, nor is He weakened by the [passing] years. All created things are subject to the dominance of His Immensity. His command is exercised by the Command, 'Be!'. The sincere enjoy familiarity with remembrance of Him; the eyes delight in the sight of Him. The adherents of monotheism rejoice in His Oneness. Those who are obedient to Him He guides to a straight path; those who love Him He admits to the Gardens of Bliss. By virtue of His pre-eternal knowledge He knows the number of the breaths of [all] His creatures. He sees the movements of ants' feet in the pitch darkness of night. The birds glorify Him in their nests, and wild animals celebrate His glory in the wilderness. He has complete knowledge of His slaves' actions, be they secret or open. He guarantees the believers His support and His help. Fearful hearts are put at rest by remembrance of Him and the removal of harm on His part. 'Among His Signs is that heaven and earth are sustained by His command.' His knowledge encompasses all things. He forgives wrong actions of those who commit them, out of generosity and forbearance. 'There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing.'
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنَا السُّوءَ بِمَا شِئْتَ وَكَيْفَ شِئْتَ إِنَّكَ عَلَى مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ (3) . يَا نِعْمَ المَوْلَى وَيَا نِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ، غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ المَصِيرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا باللَّهِ العَلِيِّ العَظِيمِ. سُبْحَانَكَ لَا نُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ، جَلَّ وَجْهُكَ وَعَزَّ جَاهُكَ، يَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ بِقُدْرَتِهِ وَيَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ بِعِزَّتِهِ. يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ، يَا ذَا الجَلَالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ نَسْتَغِيثُ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِكَ نَسْتَجِيرُ، يَا غِيَاثَ المُسْتَغِيثِينَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ بِجَاهِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَغِثْنَا وَارْحَمْنَا. رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ البَيْتِ إِنَّهُ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ: ﴿ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا ﴾ ; ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِىِّ ۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسْلِيمًا﴾ .
Allāhummakfinās sūʾa bimā shiʾta wa kayfa shiʾta innaka ʿalā mā tashāʾu qadīrun (3) yā niʿmal mawlā wa yā niʿman naṣīr ghufrānaka rabbanā wa ilaykal maṣīr wā lā ḥawla wā lā quwwata illā biLlahil ʿaliyyil ʿaẓīm. Subḥānaka lā nuḥṣī thanāʾan ʿalayka ʾanta kamāthnayta ʿalā nafsika jalla wajhuka waʿazza jāhuka yafʿaluLlāhu mā yashāʾu biqudratihi wa yaḥkumu mā yurīdu biʿizzatihi. Yā ḥayyu yā qayyūm yā badīʿas samāwāti wal arḍi yā dhāl jalāli wal ikrāmi lā ilāha illā anta biraḥmatika nastaghīthu wa min ʿadhabika nastajīru yā ghayyāthal mustaghīthīna lā ilāha illā anta bijāhi sayyidinā Muḥammadin ṣallAllāhu ʿalayhi wasallama aghithnā warḥamnā. RaḥmatuLlāhi wa barakātuhu ʿalaykum ahlal bayti innahu ḥamīdun majīdun: innamā yurīduLlāhu liyudh-hiba ʿankumur rijsa ahlal bayti wa yuṭahhirakum taṭhīran; innaLlāha wamalāʾikatahu yuṣallūna ʿalān nabiyyi yā ayyuhāl ladhīna āmanū ṣallū ʿalayhi wasallimū taslīman.
O Allah, protect us from evil by whatever means You will and as You will. You have the power to do whatever You wish (x3). O Most Excellent Protector, O Most Excellent Helper, '[Grant us] Your forgiveness, our Lord; and to You is the return.' There is no power or strength except by Allah, the Lofty, the Almighty. Incomparably Perfect are You. We cannot enumerate Your praise; You are as You have praised Yourself. Majestic is Your Countenance and exalted is Your Dignity. Allah does as He wishes by His Infinite Power, and He decrees as He wills by His Might. O Ever-Living, Self-Sustaining One, O Originator of the heavens and the earth, O Lord of Majesty and Honour, there is no God but You. We ask for help by Your mercy, and we ask for protection from Your punishment, O Succourer of those who ask for succour, there is no God but You. By the rank of our Master Muḥammad, may Allah exalt and preserve him, succour us and show us mercy. 'The mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you, People of the House. He is All-Praiseworthy, All-Glorious.' 'Allah desires but to rid you, People of the House, of all impurity, and to purify you completely.' 'Allah and His angels exalt the Prophet. O you who believe, exalt him and invoke abundant salutations upon him.'
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ أَفْضَلَ صَلَاةٍ عَلَى أَسْعَدِ مَخْلُوقَاتِكَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ عَدَدَ مَعْلُومَاتِكَ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِكَ كُلَّمَا ذَكَرَكَ الذَّاكِرُونَ وَغَفَلَ عَنْ ذِكْرِهِ الْغَافِلُونَ.
Allāhumma ṣalli afḍala ṣalātin ʿalā asʿadi makhlūqātika Sayyidinā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā ʾālihi wa ṣaḥbihi wa sallim ʿadada maʿlūmātika wa midāda kalimātika kullamā dhakarakadh dhākirūna wa ghafala ʿan dhikrihil ghāfilūn.
O Allah, bestow the finest of exaltation and salutation upon the most fortunate of Your creatures, our Master Muḥammad, and upon his Family and Companions – in number as great as all the objects of Your knowledge and the ink of Your Words – whenever the mindful remember You and the heedless neglect You.
